Vintage surfing was the main inspiration for this spring summer collection. Surfing originated back in the late 1700s, this wasn’t just a popular job or sport, but rather a way of life; a form of art. My main focus was on the fashion and lifestyle these individuals were portraying in the 1900s. I stuck with the primary colors of blue and yellow. I incorporated soft browns, striped patterns, and intricate details for a more modern approach. This elevated ready-to-wear collection gives a nostalgic feeling of being one with the wave.
